Culture and Values

We lean into an expression of the gospel that holds God to be completely loving beyond comprehension. This shapes how we fosterlove as a community, and inspires us to love God, love people, and serve both.

Love

We are committed to loving God and loving others. If we fosterlove in our community, we believe people may just see the Jesus we know in our hearts.

Worship

Music brings us together and opens us up emotionally for the message. Come sing your heart out with us!

Service

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. There are people in our city that are broken, hurting, and need help--we are here to serve them.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • Scripture

We believe that God has communicated to us in His word, the Bible.

    God talks with us!

    2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Genesis 2:7

  • Sin, Suffering, & Satan

We believe that there is a great conflict in the world between God and a rebel angel, Satan. The fundamental principle of this war is love versus selfishness. God does not force us to follow Him!

    Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:11-19

  • Salvation & the Savior

We believe that God came to this world, that His name was called Jesus, that He died on the cross to save us from sin, that He rose from the dead, and that He now rules—forever! God has an amazing plan to save us!

    Galatians 4:4, 5; Romans 5:6, 8, 10

  • Sabbath

We believe that the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week (commonly called Saturday), is a rest from works—symbolizing the way of salvation through grace. The Sabbath embodies the reality that God is our Creator and Redeemer. On the Sabbath, He quite literally resting from His work of creation and His work of salvation on the cross. God wants to spend time with us!

    Genesis 2:1-3; Isaiah 66:22, 23

  • Spirit

We believe that God pours His Spirit into His people, giving spiritual gifts and fruit to build up the church and to minister to the world. God empowers us through His Spirit and not only saves us in our sins, but from our sins. God shares Himself with us!

    Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:1-8; Galatians 5:22, 23

  • State of the Dead & Hell

We believe that the dead rest in peace in their graves until raised by God to life or to judgment. God dares to wait with us until we are reunited with our loved ones. He patiently suffers alongside us in our pain for our loved ones. God will not allow humanity, even the wicked, to suffer forever!

    Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10; Psalm 146:3, 4; John 5:28, 29; Revelation 20:14

  • Second Coming & the Millennium

We believe that Jesus will come again and will recreate this world without sin and death.

God will allow us to investigate His decisions and will recreate a perfect world for us!.God’s final judgment involves our investigation and our consent, leading us into a transparent relationship with Him.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; John 11:25, 26; Revelation 20:1-15; Genesis 18:1-33; Revelation 21:1-3

  • Sanctuary

We believe that the Old Testament sanctuary is a dramatic depiction of the way of salvation, from the sacrifice in the courtyard to the sprinkling of blood in the Most Holy Place. The sanctuary a parable of heavenly realities, with the plan of salvation written all over it. God explains His plan to us in a way we can understand!
