Our Crisis Ministry is open every Tuesday morning, beginning with a hot breakfast at 7am; then opening from 9-11:30am we serve impoverished families, helping them with groceries, clothing, baby things, household items, special homeless services, and utilities. All staffed by fun and loving volunteers; and funded by freewill offerings from Foster members and caring supporters.
Foster Thriving Lives
From surviving to thriving - together we can prosper economically, spiritually, physically, socially, and relationally - with the help of our friends!
Through education and relationships, our dynamic small groups foster prosperity and thriving lives - that impact generations to come!
We form intentional friendships across economic class lines and meet at Foster Church on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month. Meetings start with dinner and New & Good (a relationship-building ice-breaker) from 5:45 - 8:15pm; childcare is provided.
This is an open group, if you are interested in participating, call or email to RSVP.
Individuals and families gradually transition from surviving to thriving as we learn about the hidden rules of the economic classes (based on Ruby Payne's research), sound personal finance management, healthy living and lifestyles, in a dynamic small group setting expanding social connections and fostering relationships focused on the well-being and prosperity of one another.
The end result is, we prosper in every sense and move from surviving to thriving!

Foster supports Asheville High School's "Hands Up" program for underprivileged students; as well A-Hope's "Room In The Inn" program to bring stability to homeless women. We also conduct a major Christmas project every year providing toys and a holiday meal for Head Start children and their families.
Thank you Foster and caring contributors for supporting these vital ministries bringing relief and HOPE into the lives of the less fortunate. With the current economic situation, your time and contributions are needed more than ever! Email Kathy at email@example.com for more information.
